Making cookies with whole wheat flour: It can increase the intake of coarse grains

From the trend of changes in the dietary structure of urban residents in our country, staple foods are becoming increasingly refined, while the intake of dietary fiber and vitamin B1 is decreasing. This will have adverse effects on health. According to the latest version of the Dietary Guidelines for Chinese residents, it is recommended that each person consume 50 grams of coarse grains every day. When choosing biscuits, it is best to select those made with whole wheat flour. Even if they are eaten as snacks, they can still help increase the intake of coarse grains.


Sandwich cookies: Although they have a good taste, they are high in calories


To make cookies with various flavors, the key lies in adding different ingredients, such as oil, sugar, milk, eggs, etc.


Ordinary soda crackers do not have a high fat content, but with fillings, the fat and sugar content increases significantly, making them high-calorie foods. The calorie content of 100 grams of steamed buns is approximately 226 kilocalories (945 kilojoules), while the calorie content of 100 grams of biscuits is more than twice that of steamed buns!
